Yorkshire Regional Gathering for People's Assemblies

We're hosting this gathering as a way to share past successes, current activity and future plans, plus whatever we've found helps with organising and growing local People's Assemblies in Yorkshire. We're hoping to have 1-2 people representing each established People's Assembly in the Yorkshire region, plus people who can report for places and areas without a local People's Assembly. We're also hoping to include a NationBuilder training and input from Yorkshire and the Humber Regional TUC about campaigns they're working on, such as Britain Needs A Payrise.

Please be aware that our venue isn't huge, and this isn't intended as either a policy conference or a rally. If you have a local People's Assembly, please raise this in a meeting before putting your name down. Apart from a small step to get in, the venue is accessible with a disabled loo. Its suggested that those who don't need to rush off go for curry together afterwards.

Getting there: the TSSA office is very close to York Station - come out of the station to the main road and turn right, follow the city walls up and round to the left, cross over at the junction and its by the pedestrian crossing about 400 meters further on. Nunnery Lane also has a large public car park - from the A64, take the A1036 until you have a big medieval gateway in front of you, where you turn left into Nunnery Lane.
