Video: Voices from the Junior Doctors Strike

Today, for the first time in 40 years, junior doctors have been forced to take strike action over new contracts the Government want to impose which will leave doctors working longer hours for less money.

We went down to some of the picket lines this morning to talk to the doctors about why they're on strike. Please share this video on social media, lets get their voices out there and do all you can to support the strike action.

Support and with junior doctors all the way, and keeping nursing student bursaries. These are just more measures to try to dismantle the NHS by the tory government under the guise that ’it’s not working’. Impossible goals being set by the conservative government while making cuts creating difficult conditions. Labour under Blair (not real Labour values) was not much better. Everything is political and those that think otherwise are a little deluded. It is crucial that we all continue to keep up the support for the NHS. Save it, if it goes it’s not going to come back! When will the public realise that you people are using this as a last resort because the smarmy arrogant minister totally ignores the reality of what he is trying to achieve.
Trying to create a 7 day NHS service out of a three day week staff does not equate in anybody`s language. These people and their theories are a danger to all of us. Good luck guys and remember Don’t let those swivel eyed underhanded Tories with their double standards grind you down.

Many who didn’t vote, along with many who voted Tory, weren’t stupid, but nor were they in a position to appreciate the extent to which we’d be governed in the interests of the wealthy. Hunt’s intransigence, to the detriment of doctors and anyone who ever needs to rely on the NHS, is one illustration of the true colours (dark navy?) of Cameron and his crew. We should all support the doctors.

Hunt should quit. This is all because so many stupid people didn’t bother to vote and many other stupid and greedy people voted veted for Ca-moron and his lot
