At a time when poverty and inequality continue to rise, and all major parties remain committed to a programme of cuts and privatisation, join us at the People's Question Time where we will be discussing how we create a movement to challenge this.

Do you have a question for our panel? Submit one when registering for a chance to put it to the event.

This event comes just days before hundreds of thousands of people will come together to demand an alternative to austerity at the 'Britain Needs a Pay Rise' national demonstration on Saturday 18 October and strike action starting on Monday 13 October.

If you can't make it to York Hall, don't worry. The event will be live streamed here.

Daznez – there should be ample room for discussion about reform of the monetary system within all of these questions: What’s the alternative to austerity? – Why is there always money for war? – How can we stop the cuts?. The Green Party have already been campaigning for the creation of money to be removed from private hands (see so your views should be adequately represented on this panel.

Don’t you think that making employers pay 2 national insurance stamps if they insist on employing foreign nationals above British people, the second stamp would cover the cost of keeping a brit on the dole?

It costs £5 or £2 concessions to cover the cost of hiring the venue, lighting etc. and we won’t be making money from the event.

What can we do about the lack of coverage on Tv regarding Demos etc. I really think we should have mass demos, not only in london but in every shire of the country on the same day, for every group that is against the government for what ever reason. There are lotesof people who cannot get to London but would travel closer.
