Demo Against Council Cuts

February 12th, we are holding a demo outside Fife house in Glenrothes. This is the day the cuts will be voted on.
Assemble for 9:00am. Lets tell them we do not agree with the new budget and it's time they started to reject and reverse the whole cuts process.

Fife Press Release

After our leafleting campaign we released this to all the local press. It has already appeared in two local papers. We are will be having a further consolidated campaign in the new year, to gather more information over a 2 week period.

Sanctions in Fife

People's Assembly Fife were out today- leafletting at Kirkcaldy Job Centre letting people know of their right to appeal against sanctions and how to get a hardship payment.

Fife Blog Local Press

I attended The People’s Assembly recall meeting in London, as a delegate for both the Fife and the Scottish People’s Assembly.  In attendance were over 600 delegates from across the UK. The People’s Assembly Against Austerity (PAAA) was set up 9 months and now has 100 Assemblies all over the UK. Fife Trades Union Council started the first one in Scotland.
