Lee Hall, author of Billy Elliot

Join the demonstration on 21 June because...

Lee-Hall-009.jpg"...we live in a time of crippling levels of poverty for millions of people whilst the tiny few get unimaginably richer. The consensus answer of all the Parliamentary Parties is to further penalise the majority. It makes no economic sense and the effects of the cuts have barely even started.

The Right masquerading under the guise of 'common sense' are using the self-made 'crisis' to rob us of what is collectively ours whilst the richest companies in the world don't even pay tax. It will be unbelievable to historians that we took it lying down. None of us can afford to let this absurd situation become normalised. Get out there and demonstrate!"
