Sunday 1 October / 12 midday / Castlefield Arena, Rice Street, Manchester M3 4JR
The People's Assembly has called a national demonstration for Sunday 1 October as part of Take Back Manchester, its week-long festival of politics, performance, and protest opposite the Conservative Party's 2017 conference. The demo will focus opposition to the Conservatives' politics of austerity, racism, and war, and demand an alternative that works for everyone. And the Cambridge People's Assembly will again provide cheap, wheelchair-accessible transport!
Our coach will pick up passengers from the Backs on Queens' Road, and from the Unite the Union office near the Park and Ride site on Madingley Road. We'll meet from 8 a.m. ready for the coach to leave Cambridge at 8.30, and leave Manchester at 4.30 p.m.
Seats cost £15 (waged, full-time), £10 (waged, part-time), or £5 (unwaged), and are free for children under 14. If you can't afford these prices, we apologize: let us know and we'll work something out.
Please visit our Eventbrite page to book seats.
