Wednesday 4 November / 12 midday / Malet Street, London WC1E
Students will take to the streets next week to protest the government's elitist education reforms – deep cuts in further and continuing education, the abolition of maintenance grants and likely still higher fees in higher education – and to demand free education and living grants (in the sense of a living wage) for all. The demonstration is called by the National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts.
This week Cambridge University Students' Union resolved to provide free transport to the demonstration. For details as they become available, we suggest you get in touch with the activist student group Cambridge Defend Education: join their Facebook event, or write to them at email@example.com.
