Sunday 2 October / 11.30 a.m. / Victoria Square, Birmingham B1
We still have seats left on our affordable, wheelchair-accessible coach from Cambridge, by Peterborough, to the national People's Assembly demonstration at the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham. We're marching to demand an alternative to austerity, and an alternative to the Conservatives!
The coach will pick up passengers
- from the Backs on Queens' Road, just behind Queens' College;
- from the Unite office at 101 Madingley Road, close to the Park and Ride site; and
- from the Queensgate bus station in Peterborough (if needed).
We'll meet at the Cambridge points from 8 a.m. ready to leave at 8.30 (and we'll aim to pick up from Peterborough at 9.45).
Tickets are £12 (waged), £6 (unwaged), or free for children under 14. (If you can't afford these prices, please let us know and we'll try to work something out.) Members of Unite the Union also travel free, by arrangement with the Unite London and Eastern office. We thank Unite and UNISON Cambridge Acute Hospitals for their crucial support.
Please visit our Eventbrite page to book seats, where there are options for all the circumstances above.
