Giulio Regeni and Egypt's disappeared: where next for the campaign?

Monday 8 May / 7 p.m. / Latimer Room, Old Court, Clare College, Trinity Lane, Cambridge CB2 1TL

This meeting with the historian John Chalcraft (London School of Economics) will consider the next steps for the international campaign to uncover the truth about the abduction and cruel murder of the Cambridge student Giulio Regeni in Cairo in January 2016, and to secure justice for Giulio and for the hundreds of Egyptians similarly abducted under the government of President Sisi.

The meeting's organized by the Cambridge University and Cambridge City Amnesty International groups and Egypt Solidarity Initiative, with the support of the Cambridge University and College Union and the Cambridge National Union of Journalists. It will open with the first performance of a piece of music composed for the campaign by Ben Adams.
